Bike in the Park
Grab your camera, hop on your bicycle and join us for a guided photo tour of Rock Creek Park!
Ryan Delaney, a local environmental scientist and seasoned road and mountain bike cyclist, will lead the bike tour. We’ll begin at the equestrian center and picnic areas near Military Road and do a loop down to the zoo and back, with an optional loop past the start/finish area north to Jones bridge and the capital crescent trail. Along the way, we’ll stop at beautiful vistas, charming streamside meadows and many other picturesque locations.
The ride will be immediately followed by a Pot-Luck Picnic!
**If you have family or friends that don’t want to ride, they are welcome to join us for the picnic afterward!**
We’ll provide the beverages (both alcoholic and non- alcoholic), you bring lunch to share!
WHEN: Saturday, August 13th, 10am-12 noon,
followed by a picnic lunch
WHERE: Rock Creek Park, Picnic Area #14, Washington, D.C.
