I’m a relatively new member of ASPP gaining a membership through the student option about 1 year ago. I served in the Air Force as a Public Affairs officer for 20 years (as evidenced in my self portrait on the way to Afghanistan). Once I retired, I tried to figure out what I wanted to do when I grew up and that was to pursue my photography to a different level. I am currently using my GI bill to attain a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree through the Academy of Art University online degree program (only 8 classes left!). While not pursuing my degree or shooting on the side, I currently work full time as a photographer for the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
