Nancy Marion
I’ve been working with photography for nine years, and an ASPP member for 2. Initially, I fell into photography work: I’ve always been visually inclined, but studied German Literature (6 credits shy of an Art History minor) in college. After getting my start at Greenfield/Belser Ltd as a photo researcher and art buyer, I ended up freelancing for nationalgeographic.com, researching and editing photos for the Animals site. Now I work in rights clearance, but love my side gigs as a photo editor (most recently for NG Books) and a FotoDC/Fotoweek volunteer. Outside of work I DJ, sew, mess around in my garden, cook, make prints and ride my old 3-speed around town.
